Dive Sites in Scubase®

The Site Explorer presents a customizable view of dive sites, either categorized or as a full master list. Within each category the dive sites can be sorted by name, locality or geographic coordinates. When the desired site is located, it can be either selected for a dive or the detailed information for the site can be viewed or edited.

Dive sites can be optionally explored by pictures. Full screen and slide show presentation modes are available.

Dive Site Details

The dive site detail window is used to view, add or modify the dive site information. Most fields are optional.

One or more pictures of the site (or a scanned hand drawn underwater map, if you prefer) can be inserted. The images are displayed in this window as thumbnails or individually in a scaled down size. The full screen and slide show presentation modes are also available. The pictures are saved in the Scubase database together with the dive site data.

GPS Coordinates Download

The site coordinates can be downloaded directly from your GPS unit using the NMEA protocol. Clicking the GPS download button will display the download window.
