Dive ProfilesThe dive profile tab shows in the dive window if you have imported a dive profile from your dive computer software.
At a minimum, a depth profile is displayed. Depending on your dive computer model, additional profiles (such as deco and no-deco time, ceiling, ascent rate, temperature, tank pressure etc.) may be imported and charted. Importing Dive DataImporting dives from your dive computer is accomplished via software provided by your dive computer manufacturer. First you download the dives from your dive computer into the dive computer software. Then you import the dives from the dive computer software into Scubase. With some dive computers, you need to export the dives from the dive computer software to an export file or a DAN Project Dive Exploration file before importing them into Scubase. Scubase® currently supports dive data and profile import from the following OEM dive computer programs:
Direct Download from the ReefNet Sensus Pro and Ultra Dive RecordersDirect download from the ReefNet Sensus Pro and Ultra dive recording devices is supported by Scubase. This is a simple and economical solution for recording and charting depth and temperature profiles in Scubase. Go to the ReefNet Sensus web site for more details.
Combining DivesScubase allows combining consecutive imported dives separated by short surface intervals. This is a frequently used function, especially by instructors and divemasters that log training dives.
